Consolidated Diking Improvement District (CDID) No. 1 Advisory Committee

The CDID Advisory Committee provides a forum for community input. The purpose of the Committee is to advise the Board of Supervisors of items, issues, planning, and financing of the District as outlined and/or approved by the Board of Supervisors.

The membership is comprised of nine committee positions that are held by local government officials and representatives from local businesses who have a vested interest in, or the potential to be affected by District operations. Three (3) committee members are appointed by the City Manager of the City of Longview. Those three Longview appointed members are listed here.

These appointments are for indefinite successive terms of one year. Upon the occurrence of a vacancy, the appropriate appointing authority shall appoint a replacement member.

Committee meetings, held once a month, provide a forum for discussions regarding the effectiveness of District Operations and Management and the impacts to the local community at large.

**Applicant must be a resident of the City of Longview.**
